What women have said is that I will not be marginalized.

I will not be disrespected. I will not quietly let my

family and others suffer. I will vote for equality and

representation. I will fight for justice and fairness.

I will be the face of humanity and democracy.

I will be a leading member and driving force for social change.

Women have spoken
loudly and clearly.

On Gender

On Gender

As the Biden administration begins implementing its governing style and policies, close attention should be paid to their progressive ideals centered on longstanding political actions that have traditionally failed the under represented and the under served. At the forefront of this real time movement is women, who with purpose and strength, seem genuinely determined to promote civic managers fully committed to gender impartiality. Some of Biden's first steps are to include women in positions of power, including his vice president. This is a strong beginning and bodes well for promising short-term influence, complete with hope and optimism.

On Race

On Race

In the wake of Trump's presidency, in the aftermath of racial killings, from Eric Garner to George Floyd, and hundreds of other Americans of color who have suffered tragically over the years, Black and Brown America has to have a prominent seat at every table where progressive discourse abounds. The disadvantaged voice must be heard. These actions may safeguard the merit of broad-based discussions around race relations and inherent but honest complaints aimed at White incivility and its insecure and dangerous pathos created to marginalize "others." Women must take the lead in this effort to increase all efforts for success. All Americans deserve this level of commitment and responsibility.

On Leadership

On Leadership

Politics and leadership are inexorably joined by proactive coalitions. One direct way to put down White Nationalism and racism is to have diverse people in positions of power for extended periods of time, meaning consistently for decades. This builds continuity of perception, continuity of acceptance, continuity of community. This important act frames what is normal at the local, state, and national level and denies shelter for those who seek to harm and institutionalize disenfranchised Americans. This leadership cannot stand on its own volition, but requires our communal engagement and thus renders helpless those who dream of a White America at any cost. Ask yourself a simple question, "Do I benefit if I help my brothers and sisters in their journey through life?" The answer is obvious. Good people know this. But action is compulsory in the light of day, away from the gray areas inhabited by ambiguous and cunning candidates and leaders.
